It’s really about the person I’m talking to and if their other qualities allow me to ignore the one thing I may not like. There are exceptions, such as someone who drinks too much and gets inebriated all the time. We all probably have too much on occasion—it happens to me. However, it would be a turnoff if it happens every single time drinks are served. This also applies to getting stoned. I had my first (and last) date with a guy who showed up so high that he started repeating his stories in a loop. Lastly, I am turned off by someone who is rude to others for no reason other than the fact they think their unsolicited opinion matters. We don’t have to like everyone and most certainly don’t need everyone to like us. To throw out insults just because you can just makes you an asshat. The person doesn’t have to direct it towards me, as that’s a no brainer; but if he’s like that towards others, it speaks volumes about their overall character. What are your turn-offs?
