I used to 100% shoot blind on location because I didn't really have the means to do the research and I was too cocky to think I needed to. My focus would be on trying to capture that perfect frame and then moving on to the next corner of the house. Nowadays I almost always get to the location first and then I stress the fuck out over scene ideas and wardrobe, but the end result it way more "perfect" shots from each scene!
