...to keep you entertained, here's the story of what happened:
Last week, our 47 years old car suddenly pretended to be dead. Which, in this very secluded part of Portugal, equals a death sentence for your mental health. I say pretend because on Sunday the mechanic finally showed up:
*laughs*
*plugs cable back in*
and this was that...
But "that", came a bit too late. We don't do well with so much time being trapped in 20sqm with nothing but the sweet presence of our other half to entertain us. Our minds are like tiny hyperactive squirrels on Ketamine.
So on Saturday Lola goes: "I want us to shoot the MOST beautiful videos we've ever made. Also I know how to do it. What if we... (insert very long list of requirements and items to buy)".
I tend to love good-bad ideas. The kind that end up taking 10x the time and effort you initially planned, they're my favourite type. So I was a bit jealous I didn't think of that one first, and of course I said yes.
And so yesterday we set out with a fairly simple plan:
- wake up
- work out, get in the ice bath
- eat
- take the car and go buy all the things we need
- be back in time for our mid afternoon snack before we have great sex
- edit it, post it
- finish the last season of Demon Slayer in bed
But the plan stopped at the being things staged and we made it back home, starved and exhausted. But with more or less everything we needed.
So there you go. Lola wanted me to write "the cat ate our video" (I don't even know if that joke would makes sense in English haha) but I thought I'd rather just bore you to death with this over detailed recap of our Monday.
I didn't make everything up though, Lola does have some very ambitious plans for gorgeous looking videos. It's going to be incredible.
