El Salvador was kind of a last minute decision, we needed to fill in a couple of weeks before arriving in Costa Rica and just randomly picked a destination that could be good for surfing. We went in without expectations really, but what an incredible surprise!
We completely fell in love with the place, the people, the food, and most of all the "vibe" which is hard to put into words... And that is one of the reasons this episode took so long to edit: we tried our best to convey the feeling that we had over there through the music, colours, sounds and choice of shots we used in the edit. I hope we somehow succeeded!! ;)
If you've been considering a trip to central/south America, we would highly recommend adding El Salvador to your list. Put aside whatever you've heard about safety concerns as they couldn't be less justified (from our own experience and from talking to other tourists as well as expats that have lived there for years). It's a beautiful, vibrant place full of amazing things to discover. We truly hope we can go back someday!
