Added 2023-05-31 14:08:05 +0000 UTCsome pictures and videos from my weekend at the nascar race two weekends ago! it was so fun and exhilarating! the cars are sooo fucking loud omg T-T I tried to watch the race without ear plugs so i could get a sense of how truly loud the race was and I couldn't last more than like three laps lol you can even feel how loud the cars are, its insane. apparently the track hasn't seen a race since like 1996 so we happened to be there during the grand opening all star race! they really made a spectacle of the whole thing, it was awesome! there were three wrecks - two during the qualifier and one during the main race! but the last 100 laps of the main race were very polite lol no one really made any daring moves and everyone pretty much stayed in their place until the end. it was fun though, especially the people watching! people get pretty rowdy at these events it seems! there was one guy down in front of us who would flip off the leading car every. time. the cars drove by lmao our seats were pretty good too, we were right behind the starting line so it was cool to be right there were they are starting and finishing the race went by faster than I thought too, even though we were out there for like five hours! I didnt get sun burned once hehe~ I was pretty generous with the sunscreen - the only bad part about it was that we brought this cooler bag but I think the inner lining may have had a hole in it or something bc it leaked everywhere and by the end of the day, my feet and shoes were completely soaked :( but that was the only bummer honestly! it was a fun trip and i would definitely go to another race like this!
