Happy October 1st! Fall is among us along with the Holiday season. While all of you gear up and get excited for the holidays and festivities to come in the next few months. Maybe surrounded by friends or family. I’d like to ask all of you to think of the thousands and thousands of families that are sitting as we speak, with no food,water, shelter, and missing loved ones that were swept away by flood waters in North Carolina and East Tennessee. Hold your people tighter than ever and do everything you can to spread the word of what’s happening. For those of you who have tik tok I encourage you to follow locals pages who are posting and updating and follow along with addresses of supply drop off locations. And share with as many people as you can. Help in any way that you’re able. We are all human and facing the reality of this devastation, is humbling and heartbreakingly painful. For those impacted, I’m sending prayers and I’m sending supplies myself. My heart bleeds for mothers going to bed without their babies and babies going to sleep without their mommies. Husbands crying out for their missing wives and vice versa. As we celebrate and gear up for this holiday and fall season today on October 1st, I ask and plead to dedicate whatever moment of time or resources you have to offer anything even if just a moment of silence or a prayer for the people affected by this. Again, tik tok, Facebook groups, instagram, etc look for any local pages that have drop off centers within the community if you have means of donating to supply drop offs they also provide those links on those pages. Happy October 1st, and thank you all for being the greatest family to me and allowing this space to help one another. You guys are amazing.
