(Anyone under the age of 18 will not be described in this story in any context other than procreation.) Podia is a Queendom that most of the rest of the world is unaware of. With an self-sufficiency & isolation policy much like a certain isolationist country we know of in real life. The difference being Podia can actually feed everyone etc. The day to day lives of the citizens of Podia are relatively simple. Most are free to explore what they like, arts, education, sciences. Some choose the military, which acts as a defense force only. The Royalty has for generations ruled with the people softly and joyfully under foot. Within the Royal Home (not a castle) the most worn shoes of each past Queen is kept in an airtight display case, with a "Collector" built in. As the people sometimes come and pay respects this way. Although usually the collectors in every home do that work. Citizens of great accomplishment receive an award and 5 minutes in the seat at the foot of the Queens throne, although it doesn't normally take more than 30 seconds.
