I got to volunteer with a mobile soup kitchen in the Northern villages of Kharkiv closer to the front, amid nearby-ish explosions. I'm doing emotional support for International Legion soldiers coming off the front and met a lot of really interesting, inspiring people from all over the world. Several are now injured so now I can experience not only what it's like to visit people injured by the war but also what it's like to build a bond with them before, during, and after. Riding those emotional and existential highs and lows will be such a fucking trip. I went to a fashion show yesterday and it was wonderful! I'm having an absolute blast and thank you for your help in making this life come true.
