✨ Mental Health Monday ✨ Let's talk about self love? What does that mean to you? Is it repeating affirmations all day to yourself? Is it day drinking because you deserve it after a long week? Exercise and eating habits to make the skin sacks wrapped around our meat suits look better and feel better? Is it practicing self-discipline with your goals? Our bodies are actually so important they carry us around and they are there for us every single day through your toughest times you thought you wouldn't make it through, carrying you through every experience weather it be bliss or trauma you've never failed to show up for yourself.. all those sleepless nights it carried you the next day anyway, because you made yourself. Why not show yourself more love? I feel we lack empathy for ourselves and all of the love we so badly want to give to people, we need to pour into ourselves. The expectations we sit and try to have with others, do you have expectations for yourself? Do you even spend time thinking on the things you need to do to be better for you, mentally or physically? Have you dug into those demons you're feeling guilty for keeping and not being brave enough to make the changes you think about all the time. Guilt and stress make your back and hips hurt and you stay tense constantly. Like now your shoulders are probably tense.. loosen them and your jaw. How do you think this affects your body? Makes you exhausted my friend. That's why you feel you have anxiety and depression. You really are tired. DE-Pression....you ever looked at it that way? You need to de-press your body in this state.. Make yourself knowledgeable of healthier habits to de stress your body. I resonate with this myself I know what I have to do to be healthier but I too am guilty of not being consistent.
