✨Mental Health Monday✨ Today I want to talk about the difference in motivation and discipline. Abraham Lincoln once said, "Discipline is choosing between what you want NOW and what you want the MOST." A lot of us think motivation is what helps us be successful, I sure as hell know that affirmations didn't make my business prosperous, but they helped my mindset along the way. It was Self Discipline that helped me grow and heal myself. It was hearing myself make yet another fucking excuse but not allowing myself to lean on that excuse, it took telling myself everyday THAT WHAT I WANTED WAS WORTH MORE THEN THAT EXCUSE. Oh I have kids, excuse. I work 50+ hours and I'm so tired, excuse. and there is my favorite with the toxic relationships the 'Oh but I love them.' EXCUSE. YOURE NOT HAPPY WITH YOURSELF>>>>> MAKE THE CHANGES.MAKE YOURSELF KNOWLEDGABLE, MAKE YOURSELF SO UNCOMFORTABLE, MAKE THE CHOICE TO BETTER YOUR CHARACTER and PERCEPTION OF LIFE! You are wasting time at a shit job, shit relationship, unhealthy body, unhealthy habits, worrying of what everyone else is doing. WHAT ARE YOU DOING THOUGH? What are you doing to better yourself every single day... What's holding you back from being your full self?
