They are often performed together to create a more dramatic and defined look. Here's an overview of the process: Eyelash Lift: 1. Cleansing: The process usually begins with the technician cleansing your eyelashes to remove any traces of makeup, oil, or debris. This ensures that the lifting solution can adhere properly to the lashes. 2. Application of silicone pads or shields: Silicone pads or shields are used to protect your eyelid skin and help shape the eyelashes. They come in different sizes and shapes to accommodate various lash lengths and eye shapes. 3. Lifting solution: Once the silicone pads are in place, a lifting solution (a gentle perming agent) is applied to your natural lashes. This solution softens the lash structure, allowing the technician to reshape and curl them. 4. Setting solution: After the lifting solution has been on for the recommended time, it is removed, and a setting solution is applied to lock the lashes into their new lifted position. This step helps to ensure that the curl will hold for several weeks. 5.
