Added 2018-05-31 20:01:57 +0000 UTCRoadtrip- Day 1 We drove 8.5 hours from WI to NE. The drive was pretty crazy because we were in a complete downpour for the first few hours. We made decent time surprisingly and only stopped a few times to eat. Our rental car is super spacious so I've been lounging in the back seat reading. It honestly feels so good not to worry anout the real world right now. I read over 200 pages and am halfway done with my book. I only brought 2 books so I think I might have to stop and pick up another! We got to the hotel around 9pm and had a late dinner. I had meat for the first time and it made me feel absolutely awful. But we went swimming and had hot tub time. We then took a refreshing shower and I crashed after that. I can't wait for all the adventures to come. We are back on the road now. 2 hours down, 8 to go! xo Rav
