Starring Gabriel Byrne, Kim Basinger and Brad Pitt, this movie was a box office flop in 1991. But it has now became a cult classic. Cool World is a really fun watch, mixing live action with animation. Holly Would followed on the heels of her predecessor, Jessica Rabbit. Holly is probably the sexiest animation in mainstream media, and absolutely fabulous. I picked her for texture week because, if you've watched the movie, Holly has the most sexy white costumes throughout. And since she was dressed only in white, and slutty, the animators had to use lots of different textures to distinguish her outfits. I did the same with mine. You'll see fishnet, nylons, mesh, and brocade, among others. This movie is a fun memory to me because it is the first time I can remember being told by a boy that I was hot. Freshman choir, he starts calling me Cool World and walking me to class. You can bet your ass at the next time I was at Blockbuster, I went and looked that movie up. Next up? Velvet. Quite possibly my favorite texture ever. Is it because a hard dick tastes like a velvet rod? Yes, probably.
