Added 2021-08-29 13:10:59 +0000 UTCHey y’all! Tomorrow I start my first day at school and I’m NERVOUS. I tried go to college back in 2018 but I stopped going because life was in the way. I switched to online school for the spring semester but could never remember to log on for class and my home life wasn’t helpful. My intentions going into the school semester is to ask for what I need. If I need time to study tell my partners that I need some time to do so. I also want to ask for help from the learning center, professors and even other classmates when I don’t understand something. I also want to plan things ahead of time and use my planner. I often feel more in control of things if I write down things i need to do in my planner. I also have a job that I can write my own schedule which also makes me feel less obligated to be at work, I also can plan posts for all my social media accounts. I thought if I wrote out my intentions maybe I will be more likely to stick to them. I am very grateful that both my boyfriend and my girlfriend are helping me get ready for school and honestly cheering me on. They have told me numerous times how they want to see me graduate and I can’t explain how happy that makes me feel hearing that. I’ll obviously keep y’all updated on how things are going.
