Added 2024-04-03 18:00:09 +0000 UTC***My beloved Dominican***❤️ One of the things that strikes me the most here is the friendliness and hospitality of the local people 😀 Every time I pass by street cafes or little shops, I am greeted with smiles and warmth🌴 One of the most memorable experiences was related to the traditional dance of merengue💃 I visited a local festival where all the residents and tourists gathered to enjoy music and dancing! Seeing how local couples move easily and gracefully to the rhythms of merengue, I decided to try it too. Despite my less-than-perfect dancing skills, I joined them with a smile and had fun🤗 In addition to dancing, I also immersed myself in the local culinary traditions. I visit local markets, where I learn about how traditional Dominican dishes are prepared, such as mangu and seafood 🐙 I even participated in preparing some of them, and each time it was a unique experience filled with the aromas and flavors of this beautiful island🥰
