Especially for dinner and a show 🌟 Listen, I might spend most of my time in athleisure or dressed for work, but that doesn't mean I don't clean up on occasion! I love to remind myself I can be a poised, polished, princess (if only for a couple hours 😁). There is something magical and timeless about the ritual of beautification. Being able to transform yourself from a couch gremlin to a lady takes time and practice. It makes me think about the history of femininity, and the way women have adorned themselves with makeup, jewels, and beautiful clothes for centuries...until my feet start hurting, and then I'm ready for sweatpants and a messy bun 😂 Do you like the dolled up look? I promise I'll turn back into a pumpkin before too long ✨️
