I just want everyone to know you DO NOT have to get this vaccine if you do not want to. It is 100% up to you.
Working in the medical field, it is mandatory for me to get the vaccine, same as it would be for the flu shot. BUTTTTTTT if I chose to not get the vaccine (covid or flu) I would simply fill out an exemption form and wear a mask. Prior to covid, this was the rule too! Exemption form=mask. I work around cancer patients, so I get it. Whatever. No biggie. No one questioned it.
Another thing people will say is, āwell the covid vaccine is so new, idk what the long term effects will be.ā This is true, but honestlyā¦ covid in general is so new and we donāt know what the long term effects of the virus will do to our bodies either. I had covid back in November and still canāt smellā¦. š¬
The media is blowing everything way out of proportion (as they always do) and saying if you donāt get the vaccine youāll end up in a camp. WRONG! YOU HAVE THE CHOICE. NO ONE CAN FORCE YOU TO GET THIS VACCINE.
Can the vaccine make you sick? Absolutelyā¦ just like a flu shot can.
Will the covid vaccine lessen your symptoms? Sure willā¦ just like the flu shot.
Can you still spread covid after you get the vaccine? Yepā¦ same with the flu shot.
I mean, it all comes down to personal preferences and itās totally cool if youāre for or against it.
