In this cozy atmosphere, I managed to binge the entire Sweetpea.
Although, let’s be honest, “cozy” and this story don’t belong in the same sentence, ahaha
The main character, Rhiannon, has been through so much. From childhood bullying and school struggles to loneliness in adulthood and constant disrespect — even from her sister. After her father’s death, her life completely falls apart, and she takes a dark turn toward revenge.
She’s a master manipulator and doesn’t feel the slightest guilt. For her, killing isn’t just a way to release stress — it’s her way of reclaiming control in a life where she’s always felt powerless and invisible...
Honestly, Rhiannon is an absolute bomb of a character! She feels like a walking embodiment of all the trauma and rebellion humans can carry. She’s angry, disillusioned, dripping with sarcasm — and yes, killing gives her a twisted sense of satisfaction and control.
No spoilers here, but I seriously recommend giving it a watch!
