That did not happen. The backup took *WAY* longer than anticipated - content creator life. I wanted to do this first just in case I somehow make my phone worse or 100% unusable.
I found a cheap DIY screen repair kit on Amazon. I've never replaced a phone screen before, but there is a first time for everything. I am pretty handy, so here goes nothing!
The crack is currently at the top center *ALL AROUND THE CAMERA ON THE FRONT SCREEN.* Yet, amazingly, not impacting the camera much . . . yet. My front screen selfies are starting to get blurry on the bottom left more and more and it is more noticeable at certain angles. This is because the cracking is splintering off more. I am operating on borrowed time.
Anyway, as it is I am living paycheck to paycheck, have a mound of credit card debt, a neurologist appointment on the 19th and (at least this is fun news) have a trip coming and birthday. I'd rather my earnings go to knocking off my debt, whatever my medical bills will be or new cosplay, or a nice time out, or Halloween things, or shoes. I am still a girl and I still love shoes! Ain't nobody got time (or a spare $500-$1000) for a new phone!!!!
When you buy sets and support it helps alleviate my financial anxiety. The fear of breaking my phone in an attempt to fix it . . . I am losing it, fam. 💀
Today after probably 7:00 PM we will see how tech savvy I am. Can I save my phone? We will see.
Anyway, here's to hoping I do not fuck it up!
