(Cats, aside) In fact, those that go forth and explore are said to be of higher intelligence say scientists. Growing up, we are encouraged to find our way in the world through exploration and discovery. Yet, in adulthood, this becomes stifled by social norms and the desire to 'fit in'. While skydiving from a plane, or surviving on bugs in the jungle are suddenly social acceptable ways to enrich our lives, healthy exploration of our sexual identities and desires, remains taboo. Intrigue and creativity drives better sex. Yet many of us become snared in loving, yet sexless partnerships. Haled as the 'social glue' that strengthens relationships, the curious mind, in fact, helps us build deeper human connections.
