I’m so sorry for my abrupt disappearance. I became seriously ill at the start of December and for the last almost-fortnight I literally couldn’t do anything. I haven’t been able to eat at all for over 2 weeks and I’ve been throwing up constantly for a fortnight, couldn’t even keep down mouthfuls of water. I’m terribly phobic of vomiting which has added another layer to this. I couldn’t even look at my screen let alone type and I’ve been blacking-out then sleeping for hours and hours. For a hot minute it looked like I was going to have to spend the entire holidays in hospital but I think I’ve dodged that one.
I got sick so fast I couldn’t even post to let you know, and I am so incredibly sorry. Your support means so much to me, I always strive to do the best I can to make it worth your while and thank you for being here and nothing makes me feel worse than letting you down. I’ve basically lost my whole month to this and I can only beg you to be patient and understanding a little longer. 🩷
I’m very weak from lack of food and Right now I can barely stand, walking’s hard, the numbness has returned to my legs, I’m very shaky and I know it’s going to take time to get back on my feet (literally). I have a backlog of things to post which I’m going to start working through in the next few days but because my screen time is still so limited right now (it’s like it’s giving me motion sickness on top of hurting my eyes and head) I’m going to be posting without much of a written description, I hope that’s ok 🩵
Finally, once again I am SO sorry for the gap in posts and for being unable to explain what’s been going on. This is the sickest I’ve ever been and, quite frankly, I’m still scared right now but I haven’t been sick for almost 20 hours and i’ve finally been able to write something so I’ve got to hope this is me on the mend.
