(I had no idea they were a niche. ) My friend and I like to dress up in certain characters to "protest" this event. The first year we were Bible Thumping old ladies, and then Jewish mothers, Russian Dominatrix... last year we were Amish. We do a skit and then they put on the contest. Very Vaudeville like.
This year we are nuns.
