My baby dog is going to an Internal Medicine Specialist next week for an initial examination and diagnostic consultation so assess his immune disorder. Some of you may know that his disorder caused him to be unable to walk and his muscles atrophied. He was diagnosed with Immune Mediated Polyarthritis and had septic staph infections in his joints. His condition requires lifelong medications to manage his inflammation and pain, with liver support medications and requires hemostatic tests every 4 months.
He is doing well and is stable now- however my vets and I want to try one more diagnostic test to see if something else is causing his condition that we cannot detect without specialist help. I have no idea what fully they are doing to do or suggest but if you would like to contribute to helping with his medical bills or medications I would be grateful for you. I'll obviously keep you all posted.
Thank you!
