Added 2021-09-12 13:12:27 +0000 UTCI realised something when I decided it was time to transition. Stigma and hatred in the LGBTQ+ community is deeply routed in the trans community. I found out how much hate there is in the world towards us and how a lot of people view us. Sometimes reading comments on trans related media/news makes me sick to my stomach. I don't believe there's an agenda that trans and gender nonconforming people are pushing towards younger people of society. The amount of hate towards us in the broader sense is truly saddening and makes me ponder if transitioning is the right thing for me to do. I was so happy when I started my hormone therapy and yet now I feel like, is the amount of hate and transmisogyny, really worth it. The answer is yes. It's so worth it to me and I'm the happiest I've ever been. Sure the hate does get to me, often more than I'd like to admit) but I still believe that this was the right choice for me. Yes dating is hard as a trans person, being misgendered over the phone sucks, and being outcasted is no fun but being happy with myself outweighs all those cons. I really want to think people involved in my life whether it is irl or online, view me the way I view myself. That being said, I just want to say thank you to everyone who has been there for me. We may be strangers and I might not be anything more than fap material to you, but you even being here helps me in so many different ways, so thank you sincerely..💗
