Someone sent me this on Facebook last night...it was when Pro Wrestling Illustrated did the top 50 female wrestlers in the world and I was #18.
Men: PWI Top 500. Women: PWI Top 50. That's how few there were of us back then, I guess. Or how scarce decent female wrestlers were in general?
I feel that I broke through a shitton of walls (with sprained ankles and torn knees), but didn't quite reach where I'd hoped to. Once I started gaining real traction, I realized the business and WWE was not at all what I thought it was going to be and I didn't think I'd be happy as a full-time worker on the road. So, I kicked a lot of doors in but didn't walk all the way through.
However, the girls right after me probably had a much easier time.
Thanks for continuing to be a fan!
