I started modeling and showing my face in the community back when I was in undergrad getting my BS and living in North Carolina in 2014/2015. Loads of ebbs and flows between now and then but we’re still here. You’ve been by my side for all of my graduations thus far. Very, very few of you know that I actually went back to school a little over a year ago AGAIN for one final set of letters I need behind my name to do what I do. Between the pandemic and a few other hardships, I really had no expectation of me finishing this program any time soon. Few people in my personal life even know that I did this because every bit of me thought I’d give up. It was online for the most part, but hot damn it was hard. I’m smart but this was a whole other level of hard. But I fucking did it. Against all odds - I did it. I finish this Friday and then get to walk the graduation stage in May which will be so cool because my last one was virtual due to the pandemic. There’s been so much that I’ve gone through this past year that I haven’t even shared on here because it’s too hard to talk about. You have all lifted me back up without even realizing it and that support helped me reach this finish line. I am so thankful for you guys for always supporting me through what has now been 5 degrees. I wouldn’t be where I am today without you all and I’ll never, ever be able to put my gratitude into words. I love y’all. Thank you so much.
