It's because I haven't really had any particularly good news -- I didn't want to leave you all hanging or thinking I didn't want to be spending time with you, though! So, the sad news I have to report is that the leak was.. well, absolutely a leak. What's worse, is it's heralding impending device failure, which I know from having reached out to other XL expander girls; I'm on a countdown to the shell completely giving out, and the more I mess around with it the sooner that is to happen. What compounds this problem is that there are very, very, very few surgeons who work with XL expanders, and the one I saw -- Doctor Domanskis -- passed away from a heart attack just a little bit ago, and as an American that's shut off from much travel due to COVID-19, things are not great in terms of being able to get replacements. I'm in touch with my late surgeon's office to see what they suggest, but right now everything is still very nebulous. So, sorry I haven't been naked and displaying myself for you guys! I've just been a bit bummed out and a bit incapable besides. Just know I still love you all very much, and when I'm able to replace this shell (soon, I hope!!) I'll be right back to make my way up to 8000cc or more ;) Love, Juliette
