She had been doing a very good job hiding chronic kidney disease and was otherwise in great health for her age. I'm so glad she had 18 happy years and gave us so much happiness. She really made home feel like home. It's so so hard saying goodbye, I'm feeling so much heartache and my face is swollen and stinging from crying so much the last couple days. Every room I pass I automatically look to her usual favourite spots she'd be in. She was such a special friend and part of our life and I'll miss her so much. I'll try to make some new posts soon.
