They are so fluffy and adorable, but at the same time they scare me a lot It all started when I was five years old and came to visit my aunt. She had a huge, friendly St. Bernard named Max. He was basically a walking, slobbering teddy bear.
One day, as I was happily devouring a cookie, Max decided he wanted a bite too. Before I knew it, this huge ball of fur was pouncing on me - not aggressively, but enthusiastically. I panicked, screamed, and ended up throwing the cookie across the room. Max, delighted by the unexpected ball game, ran after it, and I clutched onto a chair to escape. Since that day, I have been wary of big dogs.
But I still adore them! Every time I see one, my heart melts. I want to pet them and play with them, but memories of Max stealing cookies keep me at a safe distance. So if you see me admiring a big dog from afar, know that I'm silently cheering for them, even if I'm scared to get close. Big dogs, you have my heart, but also my respectful distance! 🐶💕
