I have gone through all my stages of grieving and am at peace and acceptance with my loss, but I definitely still have my days where the pain of their absence hits me like a rock — especially on days like today. It’s hard for me to even fathom that 2 years have already passed. Apart from missing her, I find that one of the things that I still have a hard time processing until this day is not being able to share the good/happy things. That’s when I miss her the most. So much in my life has changed, and I just know she would be so happy and proud of me. In her memory, I’m reposting one of the most vulnerable vlogs I’ve shared on here where I talk about her impact on my life — about halfway through the video. I will also be having a small get-together tonight at my place with my mom and sister, as we have all shared a very strong bond between the 4 of us 👩👩👧👧 I know today’s post is a little heavy, and I was actually intending on posting a photoset I shot yesterday, but I wanted to remain authentic to how I’m feeling today.
