I remember feeling so lost, shattered, and numb all at the same time. Everything had changed, and I didn't know how I was ever going to feel the same. Fast forward to today, I can proudly say I am no longer 'longing for yesterday'. I may not be exactly where I had envisioned myself to be at this stage of my life, but I know I have the strength to keep pushing, even when life feels like it's hanging by a thread. There's still so much learning to do, but I've already grown so much within the past few months to where I almost feel reborn. To be honest, I didn't expect to feel at peace this quickly, but I just take it as a sign that my life is going exactly where it needs to be. I no longer live in regret or resentment, and I have a genuine appreciation of my past because each experience, each decision has lead me to who I am today. If you're currently struggling with something, just know that you will get through it if you keep on pushing, just like I did. The only thing holding you back is yourself. Remember that. This is your sign to do what you need to do, to be where you want to be. Let's all keep ourselves accountable for taking control of our lives 💪
