Good morning! At the beginning of the year, I started off with a goal of meditating for 10-15 minutes every day to practice controlling my thoughts, but wanted to see how long it would take me to let go and be fully present today. Started my stopwatch, put in headphones to listen to some binaural beats, and focused on my breath. It took me around 15 minutes to let go of random thoughts, and the following 15 minutes after that were amazing. Every sensation in my body felt heightened, and I had complete control over my mind. This all might sound strange for those who don’t practice mediation, but the feeling is out of this world. Best word I can use to describe it: *free* After my mediation, I followed up with 15 minutes of yoga, which is another practice I’ve been getting back into. I really want to work on my flexibility, and have better control over my body movements during headstands. Here’s a little clip I recorded towards the end of my yoga session :)
