Added 2022-05-10 19:09:36 +0000 UTC***Jade Diaries*** | **Garden Update + New Babies!** π±π£ Thought some of you might enjoy a little #gardenporn today :) Lots of spring blooms and my veggies are coming in nicely. Planning to cook the broccoli tonight with my dinner. I might have harvested it a little too late, but I'll see how it tastes. I've also been noticing some of my blueberries are missing little chunks, so I figured something must be eating them....then I finally caught the suspect in action! It was a bird, of course, so I had to scare it off. Not sure what I'm going to do about that situation, but I'll figure something out. Do scarecrows actually work? lol When you swipe towards the end, you'll see the eggs have finally hatched! I have to admit, all newborn animals (including human newborn babies) I find to be so ugly lol. They just look like...aliens? Especially with their bulging eyes haha. But even after just a few days, they've grown quite a bit and are actually starting to look kinda cute? You know, the 'it's so ugly it's cute' thing lol. It has been really cool watching them grow, I actually look forward to checking on them every morning βΊοΈ. The mom has surprisingly grown very comfortable around me, and even my pets. She used to only fly into the nest when we're all inside, but since they've hatched, she's been flying in and out with bugs in her mouth all day - with us only a few feet away. I think by now she has learned she can trust us. Well, maybe not Luna....I do have to keep my eye on her when she's out there πΉ Hope you enjoyed the wholesome content for today ^_^ My cramps have lightened up a bit, but I still have a lingering headache. I'm hoping I'll feel well enough to shoot new content soon. xo
