I wish I had taken dance or gymnastics as a kid; the bodies of dancers and acrobats are sculptures made alive. When I'm the subject in a photo, I try to channel that ethos - how to move myself and evoke a feeling from the viewer; how to translate what I'm feeling as an expression of the body.
