To be honest, I don't really know the difference between the two very well either 🤔. I'd say yukata is more of a summer festival-like dress, and kimono is more of an elegant important-occasion dress. Since most of my photoshoots are in my room, I decided to have a photoshoot outside in the hallway. I had to do this at midnight, so I won't bump into anybody 🫣 It would be embarassing and hard to explain why I'm wearing a yukata and have a photographer taking photos of me if someone sees me...
