If I end up in some type of medical emergency after getting my new joints installed I would have to be intubated differently than people with out prosthetic jaw joints due to the prosthesis not having much side to side and forward/back movement. If they do a jaw thrust with intubation it can cause complete dislocation of my titanium jaw, so for this exact reason my doctor recommends that I get a medical bracelet to prevent a situation like this from happening.
