Alright guys. We’ve been dreaming and saving and planning a long time for this- but first, let me try to put things in in perspective for the new folks who may not know a lot about us...

So most of y’all already know- we LIVE to fish. It’s what we look forward to more than anything. It’s what wakes us up before the crack of dawn with a smile on our faces. It’s just what we love to do.

But like everything, fishing costs money. So we worked hard. We busted our asses so that we could afford to get out on the water on our days off... and HOPEFULLY, the weather would cooperate on those days... but like most people, we found ourselves working more and more, and fishing less and less.

So last Summer, we got to thinking- how could we earn a few extra bucks so that we can afford to go fishing more? Better yet, how could we earn a few extra bucks AND go fishing at the same time? Lo and behold- Salty Boys was born!

Fast forward to New Years. Some of y’all will remember the video I posted. Our crew had grown more than we ever expected... We were seriously thinking about turning “Salty Boys” into our full-time gig in 2020... But we had some serious decisions to make. In order to step up our game for y’all, we had to step away from our steady jobs (which was, and still is, a scary thing)... Thanks to all your encouragement and support, we decided to go ALL IN!

So here we are- Summer 2020 is right around the corner. I said we would step up our game for y’all, and that’s exactly what we did. Yesterday, we traded in our humble digs and signed our lives away on a fishing MACHINE! Twice the size. Twice the power. Twice the safety. This bad boy will allow us to get out on the water even when conditions aren’t the greatest. And we want y’all to feel like you’re right there with us, so we’ve ordered go-pros and go-pro mounts for the front and back of the boat, so y’all will get unobstructed, uncensored 360-degree views of EVERYTHING.

And that’s not all. A lot of you guys have asked about booking a weekend to go fishing with us and we’ve had to turn you down because there’s a lot of red tape you’ve gotta get through before you can legally start a charter... Well, we are proud to say that we have officially registered the Salty Boys Fishing Charter! As soon as our Coast Guard and State of FL certifications are complete, we’ll be able to take y’all fishing with us! Time frame on final certification is looking like July, so we’ll keep you posted on that.

Bottom line- THANK YOU for all the love and support. You’re literally helping us turn our dreams into a reality. I know that sounds dramatic, but it’s true. Even if you’re just here to bust a nut, thank you for being here. Your nut means the world to us ;)

Now, all that being said- it’s not lost on us that 2020 has been rough for a lot of people- so we wanted to think of a fun, simple way to give back... so we came up with these Salty Boys Coozies. We went through a company that designs, manufactures, and ships all of their products right here in the USA (No disrespect to folks abroad, we love y’all! We just don’t have the capability to ship overseas yet). We are selling the pair of coozies for $10 ($5 each). 100% of the proceeds, every single penny, we are donating to Feeding America, which distributes meals to food banks and food pantries all across the country... I’ll make another post explaining how you can get your coozies and help a good cause!
