I was born here, grew up here, and graduated from the UofA before I moved to California. I’m sure you can imagine how many memories I’ve created here. Every time I’m back visiting, it’s inevitable that I go into reflection mode and both grieve and celebrate all the old versions of mySelf I’ve morphed through. With 2023 coming around the corner, I’m also reflecting on the person I still want to become. Each day I attempt to be the best version of my Self and that means a lot of conscious effort, mistakes, learning, unlearning, patience, and acceptance. Being a human is weird, but I’m here for the wild journey and so happy with where it’s taken me thus far.
