Added 2023-10-31 15:09:25 +0000 UTCMany people enjoy watching horror movies on Halloween: the genre usually covers a variety of topics that are meant to push some buttons in our brains, activating a response of thrilling fear, provoking angst and excitement that's based on our previous experiences and knowledge of the world. Oftentimes horror movies feature a character who's a dangerous predator and said character is almost always male. That's not surprising as (unfortunately) there has been so many male predators terrorizing the masses outside of the fictional realm. However, when I think back to movies like 'Misery', just to name one, where the perpetrator is female, I think the most terrifying aspect of seeing a woman in that role is that we tend to not expect that to be the case at all, as the most common stereotypes call for a different understanding. The performance of Kathy Bates in 'Misery' was especially outstanding in itself, although I believe that what made that movie so frightening was also the bare fact that most people tend to generally underestimate women, and that holds true not only when it comes to disregarding their talents: there's a collective understanding of women being generally weak and unthreatening and seeing a female character act the opposite way, we are first and foremost startled and surprised and that adds up to the fear induced by the atmosphere, the plot, the soundtrack, and so on. When I think of archetypical characters that resonate with me and my sexuality I especially enjoy embodying female predators, as I know them to be particularly effective in the realm of D/s fantasies for the aforementioned reasons. So, today I want to celebrate Halloween with all of you by giving you the chance to follow me into a fantasy where an average, unassuming man is first seduced then trapped by a stranger, powerful and exquisitely threatening woman...
