I'm super scared cuz I never had surgery before. They're going to put me under with the tube in my throat and everything! I hope it goes smoothly and I don't feel too bad while recovering.
Recovery will take 2-3 weeks depending on how I heal. Everyone is different. Hopefully I'm a fast healer and I don't stay sore for too long! I've been wanting this surgery for such a long time because I'm unable to safely use birth control due to my hormonal issues (caused by birth control!).
Getting my tubes tied will be a huge relief for me. I'm ready to have a level of control over my sexual health that I've been wanting, without having to put my hormonal health on the line for it. I guess that now I'm actually on my way there, I'm scared about it. Not the result of the surgery, but the procedure itself. I have no idea what it's going to feel like being put under. I have no idea what recovery for surgeries feel like either....
I'll make a post here as soon as I'm home and comfortable to let you know how it went. Wish me luck!! ❤️
