When I was younger I was very, very GOTH. Like the goths in South Park, but like vampire goth and not mall. I loved Poe, to the point I was writing multipage poems in the same style, with the same darkness.
Working in corporate America for as long as I did, I had to move to more traditional garb, as goth in my early 20s at a corporate job was not what they wanted to see.
I may look very clean and traditional, but I've always been a goth at heart. This is usually reflected in the music that listen to and the books I read, never really portrayed in my public persona.
In an effort to be true to myself, I am moving back towards my goth roots.
So if you see a transition to a darker esthetic here and on insta, just know that I am following my heart to bring some joy back to this page. 😘
