Added 2021-07-21 18:36:16 +0000 UTCOne of the reasons I don’t post me playing violin is because I mess up… like, a LOT. And it’s embarrassing! I pretty much abandoned my violin when I started modeling, and it’s frustrating to see how much I’ve regressed over the years. I’ve decided enough is enough, I’d rather be a crappy violinist than not a violinist, and started retaking lessons this month. I learned I’ve been holding my bow poorly all these years, causing that screechy whispy sound you hear (notice how my pinky keeps disconnecting with the bow). I’m doing some exercises to correct it, and hopefully will result in a better sound. Here are some exercises! It’s honestly really hard familiarizing myself with this new muscle group.
