Added 2021-06-22 21:08:10 +0000 UTC⚠️ serious post alert ⚠️ Over a year ago, I grew a firm lump on my groin. At the time, it was the size of a pea. I assumed it was a cyst that’d resolve itself in the coming months, and never got it checked out because I don’t have health insurance. Well, it continued to grow, and became a cluster of lumps on my right-hand side. Then more grew on my left hand side. I have about a dozen now, some the size of a marble. I have no health insurance, but tomorrow I go in for my first ever gynecology appointment. I’m honestly really scared and cried when booking my appointment. I’m so scared of medical offices, needles, and surgery. I’ve never had bloodwork, I vomited when putting in a tampon for the first time, and fainted during my Covid shot. I need to take care of my health though. So wish me luck.
