The whole house will have to be rewired and bcs it was knob and tube style wiring it's going to cost even more to update and replace. It will also have to be partially rebuilt bcs so much of it was burned, plus the rest is now covered in layers of soot. Yeah, We are lucky to be alive but I don't feel so lucky rn, I'm angry. I was finally starting to be able to support myself and get somewhere and just like that it's all gone
