In Ukraine, frame houses are becoming increasingly popular. While they’re a common choice for Americans, for Ukrainians, they’re still something new and unusual.
I stayed in one of these houses, a Scandi A-frame, during the winter, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. At first, I thought it might be chilly inside, but the air conditioner was more than enough to heat the entire space. I’ve also seen similar houses equipped with a wood-burning stove, which adds a cozy and rustic touch.
Fun fact: frame houses, especially A-frame designs, are known for their energy efficiency and quick construction times. They’re also a favorite for eco-conscious homeowners since they often use sustainable materials.
What about you? What do you think of houses like these? Would you live in one?
