They go through a darkening phase before they lighten again and that is where my thighs are at right now. As long as the scars don’t see any sun for one year they will turn light and stay light and be unnoticeable eventually. I chose not to edit them out. Hopefully you won’t mind. I never ever go in the sun since I get hives from sunlight, so my scars will be almost gone within the months to come.
