Added 2025-01-11 23:14:18 +0000 UTCso since it's cold RN and everyone is getting sick here's a small list of things i use that help me prevent from getting too sick:
1. honey tea, you can literally just put some honey and sweet tea in a jar, let it sit for an hour and you have a glass that'll help with a sore throat/cough
2. lots of regular drinking water, i know this sounds obvious but there's different types of waters out there and regular drinking water is the best to have the most of
3. cold damp rag for fevers, get a clean wash rag, get it wet with cold water, ring it out until it's damp, fold it into a rectangle and lay in on your forehead during a fever when resting and it'll relieve your fever in about 15 minutes (unless it's a serious fever, you may have to do this process 3-4 times)
4. wearing socks, even little ankle ones can help keep your feet warm and prevent your body from being too cold overall
5. if you're feeling nauseous and need to eat, try ramen with only the seasoning packet, don't add anything extra
this list may seem silly but it just some reminders during this time to do little things like this and they will go a long way ❤️
