The ancient city of Ephesus had a magnificent library which was considered one of the largest and most impressive in the ancient world. Built in the 2nd century AD, it held an estimated 12,000 scrolls and was a center of learning and scholarship for centuries. Too bad they didn’t have any coffee back in those days, though 😅
