What is you attitude towards the number **13** (and other superstitions in general)? I don’t like to admit to being superstitious, but I catch myself guilty of it quite often 😅 like in the case of noticing my count of likes yesterday was at **13k** 🙈 Of course, depending on where you are in the world, there are other unlucky numbers that people care more about than **13**. For example, in China, I’ve learned that **4** connotates bad luck and is sometimes skipped in the same way as **13** is in Western countries (i.e. plane rows, building floors). This is because the pronunciation for **4** (四 sì) is very similar to that for **die** as well as being the first syllable of many related words (死 sǐ). Also a quick google showed that **9** is considered unlucky in Japan, for a similar reason to the above, where it sounds like the character for suffering. Interestingly, I believe **9** is a lucky number for me. And another curious one was **17** for Italians, because rearranging the Roman numerals **XVII** can create the word **VIXI** translated from Latin as *my life is over* (lol, been feeling this one lately)!
