Sunday is the day I try to reserve for grounding ๐after a week that is usually super busy ๐ฅด How is you Sunday going, do you have a routine to help with you with the blues, and if so what is it? ๐ฅฐ **my perfect Sunday usually consists of:** ๐ด waking up naturally, without an alarm to let my body get all the sleep it needs ๐ having my warm lemon water (thatโs a daily step, but I try to do it extra mindfully and bring more awareness to it on this day) โ๏ธ I have 2 coffees each morning, usually one right after the other, and interestingly - I recently realised both my parents do exactly the same thing (it helps that my coffee pot makes exactly 2 cups โบ๏ธ) ๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ Catching up with my family via video call ๐ชด Watering and attending to my plantsโ needs (they are my babies and I love them so much, almost all of the plants in my house have been given/gifted to me, so each one has a special story to tell & means a lot to me ๐) ๐งน tidy up or have an actual clean if needed (like today ๐ซ not one of my favourite steps, but it has to be done) ๐ชburning some sage or palo santo to clear the past weekโs energy and set the space for a new week ๐ meditate for even 10mins (since I joined you here my phone screen time went up through the roof so taking a few minutes to intentionally switch off is even more important as it helps me reconnect with myself and the present moment) ๐ catch up with any outstanding tasks and be ready to step into the new week I donโt always manage to do all of the above, some get skipped because of time constraints or other arrangements ๐ but itโs the active act of trying that matters most with anything ๐ P.S. yes, Iโm a little hippie ๐๐ ๐ญ
